Registered Nurse · Certified Nutrition Specialist · Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (IL & FL)

Krista Klosowski, RN, CNS, LDN

My path to clinical nutrition started within the healthcare system itself. After earning my nursing degree from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI, I spent nearly a decade in conventional medicine, working across highly specialized units including neurology and neurosurgery, pediatrics, and surgical services (OR, pre-op, and PACU).

While I value that foundational experience, managing my own health challenges opened my eyes to the gaps in the traditional system. I realized that true recovery requires looking beyond symptoms to find the root cause of illness. Driven to find a better way, I earned my Master’s in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College in 2020.

Since then, I've built an established clinical nutrition practice centered on helping clients navigate autoimmune conditions, gut health and digestive disorders, hormone imbalances, mold toxicity, as well as broader goals around overall health and wellness. Combining my nursing background with extensive hands-on experience in clinical nutrition, I bring both depth and real-world insight to complex chronic illnesses, as well as straightforward nutritional goals. Because I know firsthand how overwhelming the medical world can be, I am dedicated to serving as your partner and advocate—helping you cut through the noise, find real answers, and feel completely supported every step of the way.

I started Anchored Whole Health to give people something they too often go without: a knowledgeable guide who has the time to truly listen. My mission is simple — to help you feel informed, supported, and steady, no matter where you are in your health journey.

Clinical training. Functional perspective.

My background combines the clinical foundation of nursing with the root-cause depth of functional nutrition.

My Approach

A few things that guide how I work with every client.

| 1 | Good care takes time

Thorough, thoughtful guidance can't happen in a 10-minute appointment. I give every client the time it takes to do this right.

| 2 | Symptoms are data, not inconveniences

How you feel matters and it's worth investigating. I take what you're experiencing seriously and build from there.

| 3 | Root causes matter more than symptom management

I'm less interested in masking what's going on and more interested in understanding why it's happening in the first place.

| 4 | Your pace is the right pace

Whether you need one session or six months of support, the goal is always the same: progress that's sustainable and right for your life.

| 5 | Expertise should be accessible

Having an RN and CNS in your corner shouldn't require knowing the right people or living in the right city. That's why I work virtually, with anyone, anywhere.
